Holiday Giving Initiative | New Orleans, Louisiana

In December 2025, SALT partnered with Community Academies of New Orleans (CANO) to support their annual Holiday Toy Drive, a long-standing tradition that ensures every student at Esperanza Foundational and Middle Academy experiences the joy and dignity of the holiday season.

As part of this initiative, SALT donated toys and financial support, contributing to CANO’s mission to ease financial strain on families and ensure that every child feels seen, celebrated, and supported.

Now in its sixth year, CANO’s Holiday Drive invites community organizations and local partners to “adopt” classrooms and provide gifts that remind students and families that, even in challenging times, community care makes a meaningful difference.
